I've noticed ballet flats are having a bit of a moment, especially Mary Jane styles so I thought I would put together a small edit of some flat shoes ideal for the new season. September is the perfect time for that wardrobe change over, now that the UK heatwave is over it's time to put the summer wardrobe into storage and dig out some more weather appropriate pieces. It's not quite cold enough for boots yet so a stylish pair of flat ballet pumps or loafers are a great alternative to sandals. I tend to live in trainers this time of year as they're are the easiest thing to slip on for the school run; but having a pair of comfy yet stylish flats to reach for can change the look and make jeans and a tee look more elevated. Whether you choose loafers or ballet flats, they will be your go to for the transitional season and can be brought back out again for spring.
