It's officially party season and many will be planning festive outfits for get togethers and Christmas parties, or lunches. We see it every year sparkly and sequin pieces that are pretty expensive and end up being worn once, not ideal if you have a few events to go to. If you do enjoy a sequin top or skirt then please try and buy pre-loved or vintage it's not only kinder to the planet but kinder to your wallets too. I thought I would post a few outfit ideas for party season that don't include sequins.
Jeans and a nice a top is a classic go to look, especially when you're not entirely sure what the venue is going to be like or if you're perhaps going to a late lunch or a day to evening do. A black lace top will dress up denim and add a bright bold blazer for an element of festive fun. Accessories including statement earrings and a fluffy bag really add a creative element to the look.

For a more sophisticated look, team a silky slip skirt with a black blazer and camisole underneath. The chunky necklace and beautiful clutch bag gives the look a bit more personality but still keeps it understated.

Red is certainly the colour of the season and is never out of place at a Christmas party so why not go for a striking red dress and a bold red lip. Style the look with silver ankle boots and a biker jacket for a relaxed look. If you prefer to go more formal then swap the biker jacket for a longline overcoat.
